Summer event spotlight: Big Hike

Head to the great outdoors and volunteer at one of our 5 Big Hike events!
Taking place in The Trossachs, Peak District, Brecon Beacons, Cotswolds and Jurassic Coast between May and July, your team will be supporting our incredible fundraisers taking on a marathon, half marathon or 10K hike. Help with event set-up, handing out refreshments or cheering at the finish line, and enjoy time as a team at some of the UK’s most scenic locations.
Set up a Donation Station

Help collect pre-loved items by setting up a Donation Station in your workplace. A Donation Station is a drop-off point where people can bring their quality pre-loved items to donate.
We’ll provide you with everything you need including a pop-up donation bin, donation bags and posters. And why not run an event and get everyone to bring in their pre-loved items?
GXO's corporate volunteering day

"I would definitely recommend volunteering with Cancer Research UK. You have the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people, and there are always people close by, ready to help and support on the day. My brother died of cancer in 2019, so it was special for me to see people supporting and helping at the event. You see so many people of all ages fighting for their own cause, all with a smile on their face.”
Vasile, employee at GXO
