Opportunity Information
Early phase clinical trials are carried out to find out how safe and how effective an intervention is. Early phase clinical trials often use new and experimental therapies which may offer patients access to additional treatment options in some cases, when all standard care treatments have stopped working.
The Experimental Cancer Medicines Centres (ECMC), funded through a joint investment from Cancer Research UK, are developing a patient information website. It will give cancer patients and their loved ones more information about trials when they are considering participating in one.
We’d like to hear from cancer patients not currently participating in clinical trials about what information they need to make an informed decision when considering trials.
