Join a group of up to 20 people affected by children’s and young people’s cancers, to share your views on a range of projects across the charity with a focus on projects that are related to children and young people to ensure that the work we do represents and reflects their needs.
You don’t need any professional experience or scientific knowledge to join the panel, we’re looking for people willing to share their own personal experiences.
We’re looking for people who:
Are over the age of 18 and are or have been diagnosed with cancer when under the age of 25 or have a close family member or friend who was under the age of 25 when diagnosed.
Have a desire to use their experience to influence and inform our work into children’s and young people’s cancers and improve outcomes for under 25s with cancer.
Have good written communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback.
Can consider the needs of a broad range of people affected by children’s and young people’s cancers.
Can maintain confidentiality.
In this role, you’ll be required to:
Share your insights and feedback on projects sent to you in a consultation pack every other month (6 packs each year). You'll be asked to give your feedback via surveys.
Respond to consultations within two weeks of receiving a consultation pack. Occasionally we may send additional consultations we think you might be interested in, which are optional.
