As well as hosting our own events and conferences, our research funding, strategy and partnerships teams attend and exhibit at a range of conferences, meetings and workshops throughout the year.
We find this invaluable in meeting researchers and potential partner organisations to discuss opportunities to work with us. The Cancer Prevention Conference
Date: 25-27 June 2025

Our conference aims to share insights from across the research continuum, from discovery biology through to population and implementation sciences.
The event will bring together a multidisciplinary cancer prevention research community and spark new collaborations to enable advances in future cancer prevention approaches.

Cancer Research Horizons Innovation & Entrepreneurship Awards 2025
Date: 10 July 2025
Location: Merchant Taylors’ Hall, London
Hosted by our innovation arm, Cancer Research Horizons, the Awards celebrate researchers transforming ground-breaking discoveries into patient benefit. The Awards spotlight exceptional talent and ambition, inspiring a new generation of innovators to tackle cancer with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Nominations are now open. Researchers can nominate themselves or a peer for multiple categories spanning the entire entrepreneurial journey – from early-career innovators to established entrepreneurs and frontier technologies.

Data-driven Cancer Research Conference
Date: 24-26 February 2026
Location: Edinburgh International Conference Centre
Since our last meeting in 2024, the complexity and volume of data has only grown. We’re expanding the conference to run over three days, giving us the chance to dive deeper into AI, quantum-enabled technologies, patient and public involvement and engagement and the application of cancer research data to personalise treatment and diagnosis.
