Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen

Neale is an award-winning director and business leader, the co-owner and chairman of PMC Property Management & Lettings and President of the Property Managers Association Scotland. Neale has extensive experience at board level, with a strong background in property. He is a Fellow of The Property Institute, and forms part of their Scottish Working Group, as well as sitting on the Scottish Parliamentary Working Group on Tenement Maintenance. Neale has always been heavily involved in supporting the local community, and been active in various charity fundraising events for cancer research and cancer support charities, including sponsored sky dives, walks and even a recent “Jail or Bail” event. Neale heard about Business Beats Cancer through an existing member of the Glasgow board, and saw this as a great opportunity to utilise his business skills and connections to help raise funds for vital research. Out with work, Neale enjoys playing football and golf, and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Dr Monika Gostic is an incredibly driven scientist, lecturer, mother, entrepreneur, and an aspiring athlete! She has been through her own health journey where she developed an intense interest in nutrition and its connection to health and disease. Dr Gostic is a regular speaker at conferences and events on nutrition and health. She has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Scotland TV programme Food Fest. In addition to Dr Gostic’s academic background in microbiology, genetics, and cancer research, she also holds qualifications in nutrition, sports nutrition, mental health, and coaching. Her coaching has resulted in many life-changing results, which are reflected in winning four independent business awards to date.

Graham has worked in the Financial Services sector for over 30 years and is a Financial Adviser for Scott James & Associates, a Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management. Graham provides advice on all areas of financial planning to both individuals and small businesses including pension planning, retirement planning, investment planning, protection planning and estate planning. Graham brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen board and in his spare time can often be found on the golf course, but not nearly as often enough! Graham is excited to be part of Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen and make a difference by balancing the books and keeping the boards finances in check.

After graduating with an MBA in 2018, Brenda decided to put her years of experience and business acumen to good use as an ActionCOACH business coach and has been successfully supporting business owners in Aberdeenshire and across Scotland ever since. With a passion for helping others to achieve their best, Brenda has also relished the opportunity to be part of the ActionCOACH ‘Coaching for a Cause’ initiative, which allows her to offer pro-bono coaching hours to charities and non-profit organisations. Brenda lives in Peterculter with her husband and three teenage children. In her spare time, Brenda is a Scout Leader, an avid reader and loves to get out for long walks with her three energetic Border Collies. Cancer Research UK is a charity close to Brenda’s heart, having lost two good friends to brain tumours in recent years, and she is keen to use her skills to support Business Beats Cancer and help raise vital funds. She also loves a black-tie event – a chance to get dressed up and bring out the bling!

Jason leads the Commercial and Membership function at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Scotland’s largest Chamber representing the interests of member organisations and the development of North East Scotland’s regional economy. A proud Aberdonian, Jason has spent a 15-year career specialising in digital marketing and ecommerce within the travel & tourism and food & drink sectors for well-known local and UK national brands before moving to the Chamber to support the Aberdeen agenda. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching football and exploring new parts of our local region as well as travelling to further shores. Like so many people, he has his own family stories past and present with cancer and as such he is looking forward to being part of the Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen Board.

Anurag Rai is an award-winning Leadership Coach, trainer, and a registered Organisational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. He is a renowned expert in human behaviour and business psychology, bringing a wealth of experience to his work in leadership development. Anurag has authored multiple bestselling books, including The Power Within, Mind 2.0, and Leading with Human Quotient, each contributing to his recognition as a thought leader in the field. As the founder of Superhuman In You and AMHWAL Academy, Anurag is dedicated to fostering personal and professional growth. Through his businesses, he is on a mission to positively impact one billion lives by empowering individuals and organisations with the tools to unlock their potential. Anurag is also involved with several local and national charities and is always looking for ways to give back to the community. Outside of work, he has completed two Spartan races and enjoys trekking and Pokémon hunting with his son.

Johnny Brooks is the visionary force behind Studio 10 and 10 Events, two of the UK’s fastest-growing names in media production and live entertainment. Johnny’s name has become synonymous with high-impact content and immersive live events for top brands like Amazon, BBC, SLB, neospace and Weber Shandwick. Working as a photographer, videographer, podcast producer and publicist to the stars, Johnny has been fortunate enough to work with talent from Game of Thrones, WWE, Tiger King, Still Game, as well as members of the British Royal Family and Scotland’s First Minister. Johnny was made an Associate of the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) in 2021, and was featured in the 30 Under 30 List for 2023. Having had both of his parents impacted by cancer, Johnny hopes to bring his marketing and events skills, contacts, and passion to the Business Beats Cancer board to help Cancer Research on their absolutely vital mission. Dianne is the Managing Director of Wildcat Marketing, a digital marketing consultancy based in Aberdeenshire. With an MSc in Digital Marketing and over a decade of experience running her own successful e-commerce brand, she combines creativity and strategy to help businesses build meaningful connections online. Having lost several close family members to cancer, including her much-loved grandmother whose strength continues to inspire her, Dianne is proud to bring her marketing expertise to the Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen board, determined to help the cause gain the recognition it deserves. A proud mum to two boys, Dianne enjoys life in the countryside, often joined by her cats or unwinding with a good spa day and a new burst of creative ideas.

Rami Elmegirab is a sales and business development professional with over 25 years of experience in the energy and subsea sectors. Known for his relationship-driven approach and ability to connect people and ideas, Rami brings a strong commercial network and a passion for creating meaningful partnerships within the local business community. Having experienced the loss of his younger brother to lung cancer, Rami understands the profound impact cancer has on so many families. He is deeply committed to supporting Cancer Research UK and raising awareness of Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen. He hopes to use his experience and connections to help grow engagement, sponsorship, and fundraising for the charity's events and initiatives. In his spare time, Rami enjoys watching and playing football, travelling, and spending time with his family.
