What we're funding in Aberdeen

Professor Anne Donaldson is exploring how our cells divide. By understanding more about the key molecules involved in this process, she hopes to unlock new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Professor Peter Murchie is developing a digital tool to help people who have had skin cancer to examine themselves. He hopes that his research will enable any skin concerns to be addressed quickly, reducing anxiety and improving well-being for people who have had skin cancer.
