More Research, Less Cancer is the philanthropic campaign for Cancer Research UK. Launched in February 2024, we aim to raise £400m to help accelerate a new golden age of cancer research, changing the outlook for this generation and the next.
Our campaign focuses on raising funds for four key priorities, which support our vision to bring about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

The breakthroughs we need to revolutionise medicine demand new approaches. The Crick brings together thousands of scientists to explore the fundamentals of life to the frontiers of disease.

Our community of researchers is making a difference to countless lives. To keep driving progress long into the future, we need to invest in the next generation of leaders.

Cancer Grand Challenges unites the world’s brightest minds to make radical changes against cancer’s toughest and most intractable challenges.

Making discoveries is part of our DNA. But we need to translate those discoveries into tests and treatments to change the lives of people affected by cancer.
'More Research, Less Cancer: our impact so far' is an illustration of the impact behind the largest philanthropic campaign in the UK charity sector.
Thousands of supporters - from visionary individuals to global foundations - have shared our bold vision: to ensure that promising ideas are never held back by lack of funding and that breakthroughs can reach people who need them sooner.
