On 7 May 2026, both Scotland and Wales held national elections.

This election period, we came together to call on all political parties to act on cancer. Now, we want to see them deliver.

Scotland

From Holyrood to hope. People in Scotland deserve better.

Every year, around 36,700 people in Scotland are diagnosed with cancer – that’s around 100 people a day.

Wales

From the Senedd to saved lives. Campaign with us.

In Wales, cancer remains the leading cause of death, claiming around 9,200 lives each year.

The 2024 UK general election

During the last UK general election, thousands of campaigners united to demand a turning point for cancer.

Northern Ireland

In 2027, Northern Ireland is also set to hold a national election. In advance of this election, we continue to develop policy recommendations that the next Northern Ireland Assembly can take to improve cancer outcomes.
