Hundreds of cancer patients benefit from genetic testing
Cancer Research UK have partnered with The Royal Marsden and Guardant Health to expand ctDNA molecular testing capacity for people affected by advanced solid cancers across the UK. This includes studies led by our Centre for Drug Development.
The timelines to treating the 100th patient
Since launching in December 2021, the DETERMINE trial has hit many milestones on the way to providing much-needed treatment options for people with rare cancers, including treating its 100th patient.
Patient finds hope with DETERMINE trial
Sky News covered the Target National genetic screening trial and spoke to Pamela Garner-Jones who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2021. Through TARGET National, Pamela was matched to a treatment on our DETERMINE trial and has since seen her tumour shrink by two thirds and symptoms improve.
Precision cancer medicine collaboration in Europe
PCM4EU (Personalized Cancer Medicine for all EU citizens) and PRIME-ROSE (Precision Cancer Medicine Repurposing System Using Pragmatic Clinical Trials) aim to facilitate implementation of precision cancer medicine in Europe.
