Pregnancy and chemotherapy

You should not become pregnant or get someone pregnant while having chemotherapy. If you are then you will be monitored closely. Most women who have chemotherapy when pregnant do have healthy babies.

Chemotherapy during pregnancy

You will need to talk with your doctor if you are pregnant when you are diagnosed with cancer. They will discuss all your options with you.

Pregnancy, contraception and chemotherapy

During your treatment you should avoid unprotected sex. You should not become pregnant or get someone pregnant while having chemotherapy. Some drugs can damage a developing baby.
