Myeloma
Some myeloma symptoms can be vague and could be due to other conditions. But it's important to see your GP to get checked out.
Your GP should arrange for you to see a specialist if you have symptoms that could be due to myeloma.
Screening means testing people for early stages of a disease. There is no screening programme for myeloma in the UK.
Your GP or specialist might arrange for you to have tests. These include blood and urine tests, a bone marrow test, x-rays and scans.
